Though this type also produces best result, if plated under sun shine but it can be planted in shady places and there fore it is preferred because it can be plated in containers , Veranda, courtyard or even on terrace.

Summer fruiting raspberries as you know grow fruits in summer and during summer sunlight is high as compare to other seasons, so berries grow well up to height of 1.5 meter and production of summer fruiting raspberries is comparatively higher. So you need some fencing for protection purpose.  On other hands autumn berries grow in small size and no fencing is necessary for it. As you have read that raspberries is planted in the month of November to March, so the spring season is best for maintaining a good crop in this season. For better growth of plants use of fertilizer is helpful. Both type of fertilizer including natural and manufactured are used for best growth. Observing proper timing of watering and spraying insecticide at suitable time to protect from insects can provide you with best raspberries crops.
